Muse. ‘Nuff Said.
On Tuesday of this past week, I attended my first concert. I have a very strong feeling that it will be the best concert I’ll ever go to.
Talk. About. Amazing.
First of all, I’ve been a Muse fan ever since I finally expanded my musical tastes to more than Britney Spears and Hilary Duff back in the 7th grade. They’re one of my favorite bands!
I’ve never experienced anything like the concert before, all I could do was
scream sing along and dance. I thought I was going to cry when Matt Bellamy started playing the Star Spangled Banner, followed up by Hysteria (my favorite Muse song.) I honestly had mini panic attacks after almost every song, because I worried that it was the last one for the night. I could have stood there in awe, listening to them, being consumed by them, forever. The lights were brilliant, the whole band knows how to not only put on a show, but make the music sound incredible. I can only hope that I’ll be able to attend every other Muse concert I could possibly go to! I’ll even put up with the little Twi-tard-wannabe-Muse fans and everything!
I have a feeling this isn’t the most memorable post in the world, and that you all think I’m mad, now… But I felt the need to talk about the night that probably made my entire high school experience. 🙂
